Welcome to the website of Claire & Ian Rodgers. We would like to thank you for taking the time to look around our website. We live in Haxby near York in the UK. Our Weimaraners are primarily pets but are shown, with some success & are regularly worked throughout the shooting season, proving that the Weimaraner is a truly versatile breed!

| Claire has been involved with Weimaraners
since 1986 having previously owned and shown the Willowsett English Setters
with my parents, David & Joan Hobson. I started to work for Gil Simpson (nee Averis), just at weekends but this soon progressed to a more full time roll. I was given a Weimaraner bitch to show myself, Sireva Sideshow, (Mabel) whom I did very well with. She was Top Weimaraner Puppy in 1989 and she won 1 Challenge Certificate and 9 Reserve Challenge Certificates. Mabel also won Best in Show at the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain Open Show. |

Over the years, I have handled many dogs,
not only for Gil but for other people too. With Gil's dogs I have won
Best in Show at the Weimaraner Club of Great Britain Championship show
twice. Once with Sh Ch/Ir Sh Ch Sireva Phancue and again with Sireva Marque.
I have also handled Sh Ch Sireva Phanny Hill at Foulby to 3 of her 4 Challenge
Certificates. 'Hannah' won her 1st Challenge Certificate at 15 months
old. She also won Reserve Best in Show at the Weimaraner Club of Great
Britain Championship show. In 1997, Hannah was awarded BOB & Group
4 at SKC. She is owned by Angela Williams. Ian has only recently become involved with
the breed. He is also chief dog walker! He is the one who takes them out
every morning, come rain or shine. Ian is also a Member of the Kennel
Club. |
