'Anchor' is a dog of a lifetime. She has shown that she not only has brains but beauty as well.
During her show career, she won 7 challenge Certificates and 3 Reserve Challenge Certificates.

She was Top Weimaraner 1997.

In 1998, she won Best in Show at both the Weimaraner Association and North of England Weimaraner
Society Open Shows. As a veteran, Anchor still continues her winning ways.

Anchor is now retired from the show ring having won the Field Trial class at Crufts 2004.

When Anchor was a puppy, I was 'gently' persuaded to 'have a go' at working her. I could immediately see that she had a natural working ability, which should be put to good use. I did a lot of training with her, (thanks to Trevor Rigby, Penny Pickstone and Gil Simpson) which paid off, because in October 1997, Anchor was awarded a Certificate of Merit at the Weimaraner Association’s Novice field trial, enabling her to become a FULL Champion.
