As a working bitch, Lace cannot go to Crufts
Dog Show as she has a legally docked tail proving she is Fit For Function,
Fit For Life. Also, she is in partnership with Gil Simpson who is a member
of the Kennel Club General Committee which also means she cannot be entered!

Lace
wins Junior at the NE HPR Club Open Show and goes on to win Best of Breed.
The following day, I took Lace gundog training where she did extremely
well
& managed to find 6 hares and was steady to all of them - woo hoo!!
She had some lovely points on the hares & also on pheasants too.
WELKS Ch
Ch saw the first of the outdoor shows in glorious sunshine. Lace won Junior
bitch and this is to be her last Junior class!

Myrtle wins her final points for her Dutch
title. She is now Dutch Ch Minstergate Dutch Mouse

Lace wins Yearling Bitch at Bath Ch Sh

Lace wins Yearling Bitch at Southern Counties
Ch Sh and then goes onto win her first RCC! Woo hoo!!
I took Lace to an open show where she won Best of Breed and Gundog Group
2.
The next show for Lace was Border Union where she was in Limit Bitch as
there was no Yearling class. She delighted me by winning it! Onto Blackpool
next where she was 2nd in Limit bitch.

Lace cannot go to any Ch Sh during July
as they all charge for public admission and she is legally docked. However,
I did take her to an open show, East Riding Gundog Society and she won
Best of Breed then went on to win
BEST IN SHOW!!
August

Great news from Machteld van der Linden
to say that Myrtle, Dutch Sh Ch Minstergate Dutch Mouse NJK JW 08 whilst
on holiday in the UK attended the HPRBA Test of Work and WON the Novice
section!!! Myrtle scored 96/100.
Lace has been grouse counting on the Yorkshire Moors and has done very
well then a few days later we went to Paignton Ch Sh where she won Yearling
Bitch. However, Lace was very tired and is now having a small break.

September has being a somewhat frustrating
month as Lace has been entered at lots of shows but has spent most of
the month lame! She did manage to attend Richmond where she was 2nd in
Yearling bitch before going lame again then was OK to travel across the
water to Belfast where she won Limit bitch and her 1st Challenge Certificate!
October
2010
Lace
went to Driffield Ch show but not before she had been out working, pushing
pheasants back to their wood giving her a real dual purpose day! It was
torrential rain and Lace won a 3rd in Yearling bitch, her lowest place
in 2010 so far :)
Quba made a rare appearance at a show going to Yorkshire Gundog where
she won Best of Breed!
