'Quba' has joined us at Minstergate
recently and is already making an impression.
She is making Pagan's life a misery, just as Pagan did to Anchor!
She is a keen retriever
& has picked all game birds given to her. (Pheasant, duck, teal, snipe
& woodcock)
She was given each game bird at 9 weeks old to retrieve apart from the
pheasant as it was bigger than she was!
She picked her first cold pheasant at 4 months old. After spending some
time 'dogging in' with Pagan, it was felt that she was ready to appear
on the local shoots. Quba has been a valuable asset to the shoots &
is showing excellent natural ability.
Quba holds her Kennel Club Working Gundog Certificate (preliminary stage).

Quba wins her Junior Warrant
at 11 months old & consequently has qualified for Crufts for life!
Quba is no longer shown as she doesn't really like it. She did do herself proud whilst she was shown winning many 2nd in Open Bitch but it is the working side she prefers so that is what she does.
Quba came out of 'retirement' at the end of October to attend Yorkshire Gundog where she won Best of Breed to prove that he has still got the looks!
